1. Long Life
TruLite has no filament or electrode to wear out! Its average life expectancy is 100,000 hours which is 50 times longer than an incandescent lamp and 7 times longer than a metal halide. At the same time, TruLite’s ability to withstand vibration is excellent.

2. High Efficiency and Energy Saving
TruLite’s luminous efficiency is more than 60 lumens per watt and 145 pupil lumens per watt. Its power factor is also equal to or greater than 0.98, and the luminous of an 85 watt TruLite is equal to that of a 500 watt incandescent lamp, saving 80% energy consumption.

3. Environmental Protection
TruLite lamps are EMC approved, having no electromagnetic pollution. They high brightness generates low glare. The light is stable without flicker and is healthy for eyes with excellent visual acuity. Its long life also reduces waste disposal in comparison to traditional lamps. As well, the lamps contain no liquid mercury.

4. High Dependability
TruLite’s environmental operating temperature range is from -40 and +50 degrees C. and the lamps can be started as usual without maintenance. At the same time, TruLite lamps ability to withstand vibration is excellent.

5. Instant Start
The function of start and restart is excellent, less than 0.5 seconds. TruLite lamps need no preheat time and can be started and re-started instantaneously. The lamps are tested to over 7 million cycles with no detrimental affects to operational performance. While start and restart times are almost instantaneous, larger wattage lamps, such as 135 and 165 watt versions, require a couple of minutes to achieve maximum performance levels.

6. Colour Rendering
TruLite has excellent colour rendering with a CRI rating equal to or greater than 80. The lamp produces a pleasing white light in the 5000 kelvin range.
